All the Nameks actually had 4 fingers in the manga originally. The anime gave them 5.

Yep. Apparently someone only having four fingers was seen as offensive to some group in Japan around the time the Dragonball anime was first coming out, so Piccolo ended up having five fingers instead (and that got carried over to every other Namek when they showed up in DBZ.)

Gotta say Broly has the edge. He punched them with his fists: short, simple, easy to remember. It was working well enough too until Goku ulimately beat him like all the others. Then he came back and did it two more times. Everyone else was finished after one beat down.
