Jeez, I dunno where to begin. Let's see...
I notice in a lot of your work that you use vibrant and glossy colors and they work for those particular pieces. This color scheme is more dark, more saturated and it really works for this.
Overall I would say it's the entire composition that does it for me here. It's dark, a little menacing and it appeals to that side of us who like to see something on the darker side of things from time to time.
Also, the ink, particularly on his coat, I love how it's dripping upward in defiance of all the rules of art. Seriously, I can go on all day about this guy. I think what matters most is that he's awesome and you my friend have done a superior job on him. Way to go!

Thank you! I'm flattered you like him that much. I will consider doing more 'darker' themed pieces. It's not something I'm in the mood for often, as you can tell from my art, but it's deffinitely something I can slip in there every now and then.
