Contest entry for 's joint contest being held by =Pamf , =Ann-Jey and !Black-Cat-Virus ~I tried my best to keep the original texture and lines of the actual drawing so it goes without saying I hardly did any digital lineart to this. I also took my coloring inspiration trying to meld together *RoksanaTH 's and !Meltina 's styles (who are very awesome and truly talented color artists in their own right
) because I adore their techniques that much <33Even if I don't win a prize I can be satisfied in knowing that I accomplished hard-worked fanart for both these fancharacters and their respective owners; they're cool artists and I had fun with this piece for them both lol <3
The whole anthro angle is something I'm still experimenting on: original enough I'd get recognized for it but not deviating too far from Sonic as an association.
Not much else to report except I think I've figured out how to make my succeeding submissions more alive and natural. You be the judge on how that goes for me XD

The shading, color tones, and background adds the charm to this piece!

Wooooow, so damn good 'w' First that captured the attention to me is the lighting - the sepia tone, I meant. I really like this kind of tones and colors, it somehow warm but remind me of autumn... I like autumn
The second were the smooth lines. It looks really nice here, creates such calm atmosphere in addition to the colorscheme.
May I ask, you must be inspired by Persona 3 if looking on Dero's outfit? 'Cause it reminds me of it

And yeah, I got basis from Persona 3 since not only do I enjoy the style of the game but Dero can be defined as 'emo' in style like the main hero is. A good-looking emo lol >w<
On the other hand Gitz's glasses, hat and uniform are based from Persona 4 if you look it up as well XD
