QP stands for quick paint submission

Gahh it's been too long since I had any real fun coming up with something. I'll be honest in that while I have the ability to come up with cleaner lines and sharper details, I don't particularly enjoy doing the whole process unless it's for competition's sake or if there's a solid style I'm after.

So in response to such an issue I've been mulling around trying new tutorials and watching how other people do digital painting. There's still quite a bit to Photoshop I'm currently remastering at a steady pace. This piece is one of the first I've ever used the masking option on as well as putting together filter combos to one layer.

Result piece turned out to be very fun to work with in under four hours and nice enough that it'd be a keeper. I do enjoy coming up with well structured, actual backdrops to go with a character <3

In fact I may very well keep the style of it as my own consistent flavor to be recognized for. It's all really good like this for me ~
