pencil & gouache on paperi started this and then ran out of steam. i found it while gong through some boxes the other day and discoeer taht I rather like it now.

Aww thanks. I think it was from a perfume add of some sort. I could never quite get the feel of watercolors, but gouache seems to make more sense to me. In OZ that was all they would let us paint with - apparently when you are doing fashion designs that is the common media to use because it gives a nice strong base of colour but still dries quickly. I hated it at first but now I love layering it to create different effects. I just wish there was a store around here that sold it for cheap. Everyone wants an arm and a leg for it, if they carry it at all - i think because most people have never heard of it before.
