Ah, i see! good luck with that!

(try using skulls and muscles, works treat, then put the skin on top metaphorically. also reduce  into simple blocky shapes then refine the details. might be telling you what you already know, but just in case it helps )

You're very right, I used to do more anatomy studies but I've kinda been too submerged in cartoonism. I think it would be good for me to do some semi realism and take a little brake form cartoony style for a little bit to help build up my anatomy skills so I can do more angles XP

you could still stick to a cartoony style. The more realistic cartoons, of which your art is  good example, have a basis in realistic anatomy, just with exaggerated/changed features, and simplifications in other areas.

This current angle already has a strong anatomy base from what i can see!
