Draw a line through Orion's belt to find the brightest star in the sky, Sirius the heart of the Great Dog.Just how bright is this star? Only planets such as Venus and the International Space Station are brighter. Did you know that the star Sirius is actually a binary star (two stars that are really close together) with Sirius B being hard to find because it is 10,000 times dimmer than Sirius A?
I chose to draw a Rottweiler because, since Orion was a hunter from an ancient Greek myth, the hunting dogs that accompany him in the night sky mostly would have been Molossus. Molossus are a now extinct breed of dog but their decendents are the Mastiffs; St. Bernard, Great Dane, Bernese Mountain Dog, and of course the Rottweiler. And the Rottweiler itself can be traced back to Roman times.

That's a nice one. I really like how it's possible to distinct the dog's breed (and of course, the Great Dog is one of my favourite constellations due to my father). The idea of drawing constellations related to their names is also cool. Maybe you could have spend some more time at the Rottweilers shading, as it's hard to distinguish where does its body begin and the legs end. If you have something like SAI or Photoshop, you could do that easily.
