The message to girls and women in America--even if you are punched into unconsciousness in public, with a video recording to prove it, your attacker can get away with it. Where's the justice? Aren't American women entitled to protection from violence? Under the law? The prosecutors did NOT need the victim to testify in this case. How do I know? THE VIDEO EVIDENCE! That would have been quite enough to secure a conviction. Ray RIce is a danger to every female near him. He KOed a woman with impunity.

No, we do NOT owe him a second chance at fame and fortune! We don't owe him anything!This wasn't a car accident due to a DUI! This wasn't an accident at all!He isn't a kid, is he? His poor wife. She must live in fear of angering him. Nobody asks for that kind of life. Nobody deserves that kind of life, even if they don't realize it.
