Looking down from Chinley Churn toward the far end of Chinley village with the Hayfield road in the distance.A beautiful warm August afternoon with just the right amount of heat to be comfortable. Summer is coming again soon folks.

If one were to walk out of his house, he'd stumble down the hill if he's not very careful. Then he'd fall into the next person's back yard and uh oh...beware of dog?

It's nice to see a green field when it's currently in the negatives today. Damn you and your earlier seasons than us...me.
Anyways, the hill on the left looks to be the best sledding hill. I'll have ot keep that in mind.

I did keep this one from the Summer, I like to do that to cheer people up a little in the Winter.
That whole valley is good for sledding if you feel a little suicidal.

I can make it even more dangerous by cardboard sledding. My dad showed me how to do that one year. Take a waxed box in the summer, go to your favorite hill on a sunny, dry day, and slide down the grass...just hope like hell you don't crash.
