Well, actually it is not a street but a walkway on the lake shore (rather would call it a pond) but it is in the middle of the town. A pair of grey herons nested here since few years and they accustomed to the traffic and the circumstances very well. I had a great headache to avoid all the cars, dogs, passing people on the image and on reflections...

Taken with a Canon EOS 7D and a 40 years old Nikkor Mirror 500 f/8 catadioptric lens, deep in the blue hour (that's the blueish tint on the vegetation), full manual mode. You'd know catadioptric lenses to accept the effort Other settings: f/8 (there is no other there with this lens!), t=1/4s, ISO 100, on Manfrotto tripod, using mirror lock up and wired remote release, and enlarged Live View focus aid.
