Saw some Rarity slander on this site... I WONT STAND FOR IT !!!

Joking lmao, I can understand why drawing her mane is hard asf. Who came up with this anyways? I always have to take time when I do it lol. So here is a very simple step by step on drawing the CANON style of Rarity's mane. I will probably tweak it for my own redesign purposes in the future. I also have not seen a drawing tutorial that really made sense of all those curls- I just knew how to follow them from my days as a still life fabrics artist urgh.

I hope this helps those who have not drawn Rarity or avoid putting her in nextgen art just because of this darn manestyle. Should I try out her tail next? Was this in any way helpful?

BTW, I used my own color palette, but the gradients DO follow the canon coding. I also wanna reveal that I have every intent on using the 'pink noses' to help openly race-code my universe and ideas. Rarity definitely gives black diva vibes don't @ me on that lmao. So yeah, I actually plan on using just about every range of 'human' skin colors on the noses for my own designs, because I think it adds a nice touch and helps me grow & consider my diversity rather than avoiding it altogether lol
