This popped up in my favs and I was just checking out the comments in it again.
It makes me think of a god, and the white vertical lines coming from his head hare leading down towards his will. The area at the bottom is the result.

That was the intention. The "being" right below the main head can also be construed as the operator of the god; Inversely it is the god dominating "man", and similarly, "Interacting/conversing" with him. Referencing my own tagline:

This creature has such a powerful stature, wow! The mix of industrial power (the steam punk influence) and the spiritual power (lightning, skull, ethereal location) is a pretty unusal blend but works to awesome effect in this. The contrast of physical energy vs electrical/steam, earthy colours vs sea colours and light vs dark all positively reinforce the tension. And those 'eyes'... holy shit! They hold your attention even though you want to look away. Just amazing work.
