Try to use a selective autofocus (one point) and focus on one eye of the cat. With black cats I take more photos to get an god one

I don't think my camera has a selective autofocus, but I'll look for it. Basically I can only get clear pictures of poor Siddy with my phone because it can take the picture much faster then my camera haha. Usually not as fast as her though. She is very beautiful but it can be hard to see in photos.
