So cute, so much undeserved hate for this Pokemon. Awesome work here!

Thanks!

Yeah, Pokemon based on inanimate objects aren't the most popular, but I personally like many of them. Though I do wish Vanillite's evos looked a bit different; Vanillish could look like Vanilluxe but be half vanilla and half chocolate, and Vanilluxe could be three ice creams in one, vanilla and chocolate and strawberry. (Though is it really okay for me to critize the evos, when I like both Magneton and Dugtrio? Ahaha...)

I love Pokemon like Klinklang and Chandelure a lot. They're some of my favorite Pokemon ever. Vanilluxe has always been a Pokemon that I never really hated or loved. It's just kind of "there" for me. There's a whole lot more food based Pokemon with a worse design than it(slurpuff).

I've met a lot of people who like Chandelure. I like it too. But you're the first I've heard like Klinklang. I don't really find the Klink face appealing, but otherwise I wouldn't mind Klinklang, at least its big gear and the spike ring around it are coolish. I googled Klinklang and there was one painting where it looked really cool and menacing in a good way (though in my opinion the Klink face still doesn't fit the design): www.pixiv.net/member_illust.ph… (If Pixiv asks you to sign in, here's another link: s1.zerochan.net/Klinklang.600.… )

Usually, if I use a Pokemon in a game, or I see it in a manga or in the anime, then I start to like it a lot more. But I never really played the 5th generation games nor did I watch the Unova episodes nor read mangas with Unova Pokemon in them, so I don't really like many of the Unova Pokemon, while all the other generations have lots of Pokemon I really like. Ah, I should probably play Black2 more someday so I would learn to appreciate its Pokemon more (started years ago but stopped after the 4th gym).

I started to like Slurpuff after I drew a picture of it. Somehow drawing a Pokemon or seeing someone else draw it in a cool or cute style can make me like it.

But it's good that there are lots and lots of Pokemon, so everyone can find Pokemon to like. (Though having a 200+ favs and being only able to use 6 in a team is sad.)

Most of my favorite Pokemon are from Gen 5, actually. Probably because that's when I first started playing Pokemon. I love the Gen 3 Pokemon because I loved playing ORAS(My favorite Pokemon of all time came from those games(Mega Rayquaza)). The rest of the gens after 5 have a good number of my favorite Pokemon in them as well. The generation that I have the least connection with it Gen 2 or Johto. The Pokemon in that gen, aren't that appealing to me, aside from a few exceptions.

Sorry for the late reply.

People usually like the generation they started with the most. I loved Emerald (I skipped G/S/C, so it was a huge step up from Pokemon Red), and ORAS were/are good games too (though I wish they had character customization after XY). Both regular and Mega Rayquaza are really cool. I like a lot of Kalos and Alola Pokemon too. I have the other way, though I skipped G/S/C and only went to Johto in Soul Silver, I like almost every Johto Pokemon, though I like Hoenn and Sinnoh Pokemon even more.

Different Pokemon generations have slightly different art styles. Some are more realistic, some more cartoonish, others more complex, others simpler, even the colors used are a bit different. Hoenn Pokemon's colors are more colorful and lighter, while lots of Sinnoh Pokemon either have darker color schemes or otherwise are less colorful.

Sorry for putting off my response to you for so long, I couldn't agree more. That's why Pokemon is so great! There's different things for different people!

No worries. I've been really busy too.

Yeah, agreed, and each generation has different settings, themes, etc.. Speaking of which, I can't wait to see gen 8. Since Alola was like Hawaii, I wonder if the next region will be more like Alaska. What do you hope?

I've been wanting an Alaska based region for quite some time now. I went there a few years ago on a vacation trip and it was by far the best trip I've ever been on. I also hope that they make Alaskan variants of Pokemon as well. One idea I've had is for these regional variants to be of Unovan Pokemon, as it and Kanto have the two largest Pokedexes. Maybe the region could be geographically north of Unova like real world Alaska is to the continental US.

Wow, a vacation trip to Alaska! Sounds really nice! I have seen some nature documents where they're in Alaska, and that place looks really great. I love the nature in there. Was it a summer or winter vacation?

Good idea. I often forget that Unova had a large number of new Pokemon. I guess the region would be even norther than Sinnoh.

I went to Alaska during the summer time. It was still a lot colder there during that time than it usually gets during the winter where I live.

I would really love to see Alaskan variants of Pokemon such as Sigilyph, Beartic/Cubchoo, Druddigon, Roggenrola-Gigalth, Excadrill/Drilbur, Alomomola, Tynamo-Eelektross, Cryogonal, Golurk/Golett, and Rufflet/Braviary. Any one of them would be great candidates in my opinion.

So it's still cool in the summer, I didn't know that. Sounds good. I like cool weather, when it's not too hot, but when you still don't have to wear gloves.

All of those Pokemon would be good choices. I'd especially like to see Alaskan Cryogonal, because I have no idea what it would look like.
