CAUTION: SPOILER ALERT!The Goddess of Light knelt down, wrapped her arms around Pit, and held him up in her lap. The remnants of his wings still smoked from the Power of Flight, which he used to save Dark Pit in the Chaos Vortex.
Palutena thought back to the words Pit spoke, about wishing to fly by himself, and returning to Skyworld victorious. Looking down at his face, his present state seemed to burn away those hopes.
"Oh, Pit," she spoke as she closed her eyes, her hand covering his in his lap.
This moment in the game is emotional and heart-tugging, especially for a fan-girl. I almost came to tears. No joke.
It seems that this scene says a lot about about the relationship between Pit and Palutena - for me, at least.

Oh god, this chapter, hurt so bad. Whats funny though as is soon as his wing heal he literally, jumps up, does a back flip and then goes back to his dorky self again. ._. Pit is the only one i know who can wake up after a near-death injury and be up and running again in 2 seconds flat... I know the fountain was magic and stuff, but still

But of course when Pittoo does save Pit...yeahhh..the chapter following this one just couldnt keep me sad for long what with what occurred

I was too shocked to cry at this scene I just though it would never happen I feel like an idiot not paying attention to all those times when Palutena or Viridi would say that the power of flight could only last for five minutes or Pit's wings would burn up.

I just gasped in horror, and coverred my mouth. And when I saw all those flashbacks... my heart felt so heavy.
This guy had suffered so much, but of course he always rose back on his feet to try again. But now, this seemed like a real end for him.
And then... you know what made me cry briefly? The fact that he seemingly was dying, despite being an angel. That is just beyond heartbreaking. (>-Í[]Ì)

Thanks. This scene was so heart-tugging. I'm surprised I didn't cry when I first watched it.
I wonder if angels in Angel Land are immortal, or just have long life spans. I always thought angels were immortal, but I could be wrong.
I'm just glad that Dark Pit helps Pit recover in the next chapter. (sorry if this is a spoiler to anyone reading this!)

The first time I saw this scene, my eyes felt teary when I saw the condition of Pit's wings; I was literally speechless.

I was suprised for some reason that I didn't cry-- although, my eyes did start quiverin-n-wetting. Still so, it was devasting, the poor little angel. He does so much, and that proves there that he isn't a weak person.
