Wohoo! I managed to draw something before my work starts. I wonder how often I am able to draw now that I am working again...I can start doing commissions soon, but figuring out the law and tax stuff when it comes to extra income is very complicated in this country, so it might take a while for me to figure this out.
I supposed to draw Sorbet using that sword and swinging it around, but I didn't get good ideas for the pose. I should probably try drawing more difficult poses. ^^

This is so cute^^ also have to say that poses swinging sword are hard for me too. About commissions I think you would get out of it even without paying em as long as you are keeping it in paypal/points... Of course doing things "right" would be optimal but they sure don't make those things easy...

Yeah, maybe I should have done that in the beginning. It feels like criminal activity just to earn bit of pocket money.
Paying the taxes seems easy enough, but I'm not sure if they see this as a business that requires setting up a firm.
The tax offices' website FAQ-page gives weird answers and it is impossible to send direct questions to them. Our country's services are like a difficult puzzle.

Indeed they are. And crowdfunding is pretty much impossible for all I know to top it off. Then we ask why people are "lazy" and "don't work" when reasonable amounts of indie opportunities are killed by bureaucracy and stuff. Well at least point commissions should be fine as it is not money you are getting paid... Also if you would need to pay make up a firm and stuff there would not be anything to tax anyways since the firm wouldn't make any profit, all would go to the investments (starting from pc, tablet, software,Β electricity), I mean I highly doubt there is anything to tax after subtracting all of those and even if there is it wont be enough to go over limit that you would have to pay taxes for... That is all based on my limited understanding thou but I would say that were you have a firm just for few commissions you still wouldn't have to pay any taxes... So based on that in my eyes keeping it on the paypal and using it from there without all that hassle would in theory be incorrect it makes no difference either way and as such would be morally ok at least in my eyes^^

Exactly, that really makes me angry when I see these situations. In this country's current economical situation and while being unemployed, doing these sort of stuff for bit of money is the best possible thing. It is funny how everything here is made so complicated, it almost feel like it is made intentionally difficult to discourage people. I probably would do just a few commission works per month, so I would just earn around 15-50β¬ /month, if I'm lucky + possible donations, so it feels rediculous to pay taxes and go through complicated stuff for so little.
It would be nice to ask directly from the tax office, but it is impossible to contact them.
