Handsome male arctic fox, August, from the Binghamton Zoo in Binghamton, NY. This was early spring so he still had his winter coat. Feel free to use as a reference or as stock for photo-manipulations. Non-commercial use only. See profile for other stock rules.

It's not pure white but silver more. What do they look like in spring?

In the dead of winter they are nearly pure white. I just posted fav.me/d7qk233 for you. This is of a different male arctic fox in the dead of summer. They get dark gray coats at that point. Since this photo of August was taken in the spring, he still hadn't shed his winter coat yet but traces of his summer coat were starting to show through (thus the silver tones).

Haha, I don't think August would be too happy about that... especially with how hot it has been around here. Foxes tend to get grumpy in the summer, lol.
