Description I was playing with some hydro graphic dip and decided to see what all it sticks to. The answer... damn near anything!
I am practicing to get the feel for how this stuff works, I have some small detailing stuff I want to do to my cars with it and it's proving to be quite tricky! You have to lower it smoothly and evenly, if you have matching parts you also have to be consistent. But, hey, all it takes is some practice. Next time... I will be doing it outside. I am high as a kite right now! Doesn't help I have either food poisoning or a bug at the moment.

That's a pretty cool effect. Might have to look at that stuff for some odd projects.

Yeah, my friends are interested in having me do some gun parts for them when I get the hang of it. It's one of those things that sounds REALLY easy but in reality is actually pretty hard. If you have something that's round, like an air filter, the pattern will be tight in the middle and wider around the sides if you just lower it in straight so you have to kind of lower it while rolling it. I have all kinds of different patterns from flames to marbles to ghost skulls and carbon fiber. It works on anything, too, so it's great for projects.

Wonder how it would look on a speed bag or a heavy bag.

I'm not sure, it might be possible. I don't know how pliable it is once it dries, it might want to chip instead of bend with the leather. But applying it is possible if the person doing it is really good. Or has access to a huge sheet of the film. The heavy bag would be easiest if you can undo the stitches and stretch it across a board and lower it in, then see if it cracks when you re-wrap it. You could do it intact but it would have to be carefully rolled into the film to cover the whole thing. If there is a mistake only solvents will remove it and even then it's a pain.
The speed bag would be easier if you can find a way to keep it from floating. Maybe fill the bladder with water first.
For kicks and giggles, now, I am thinking of trying it with a boxing glove, which is small enough for the kind of tank I have. Maybe I'll go find a cheap one on Ebay or something and give it a shot! If it works then I have a cool display item and if it fails then it's no big loss.
I tried to dip a wing mirror for an old early 60s Volvo P1800 and it would have come out amazing if the damn thing didn't try to float.

Hmmm, might take a lot but I might try with a staff. No flexibility.

I think the next thing I want to try it on is my Playstation 3, take it apart and dip the shell. Something that black I probably should do a silver base coat. Not sure what pattern I'll use, maybe carbon fiber. I do have blue flaming skulls, too. If it works well I might do it to my Xbox One X!
