This looks awesome! What did you use to make it? Photoshop? Or something else? I think there isn't enough quality 3D art out there.

For Mary Jane, I used a 3D program called Poser 7 and lettering and background I used Photoshop CS2.

Poser 7? I'm not too familiar with that. Where did you learn how to use it? I encourage you to do more!

I use Poser 8 now and the current version is Poser 2010. I learned to use Poser on my own, but I did do some 3D animation in highschool and university.
Believe me I will definitely do more.

MJ does look nice! Good job. Yeah I was never really fond of the Spider Man movie actress either. I hope this one will be better than 3 Just too many things going on in it.

Thank you, thank you. I'm hoping Spider-Man 4 is better than 3, it just has to go up from there right?!

Oh man, I hope so! If they dust did sandman in the last it would have been great (I love the actor and he did do a good job)...leave the suits out of it (I believe they had a bigger hand in 3. I also believe Rami would only do 4 if they left it all to him again.

It's true, they could have found virtually any other young actress to play MJ...I mean, she's supposed to be the epitome of hotness, but Kirsten Dunst is as average as girls get.
Great render. At least your version maintains the hotness tradition!

Thanks JP, I gotta maintain the hotness tradition of Mary Jane or else I will have a Spider-Man 3 disaster. The actress who played Qwen Stacy in Spidy 3 could have played MJ. True, almost any young actress can play MJ.

Thanks, maybe some more MJ in the future.
I just had Mary Jane on the brain for some reason and making a pic is usually the way I can get a character out of my head.

Tell me about it. I don't know how it is up there in the T-Dot, but the women here in ATL are MEGA picky...and it's not just the hot ones either!!! Sure, there are TONS of single women here...only thing is they're single b/c all of them are waiting for a Romantic, yet thuggish/bad boy millionaire that's smart, yet suave at the same time to come and sweep them off of their feet.
Just today, I saw an article saying that many professional women (it was directed toward professional black women but I think that it applies to all women) should take notes from US First Lady Michelle Obama, as she chose Pres. Obama before he was the iconic figure that he is today. It was said that Barak Obama was broke, still had his big ears, a bit aloof and awkward, yet she still didn't blow him off b/c of his imperfections as most women would now. Here's a few of the actual responses that the author of the article gave when she tried to play matchmaker for some of her other female friends:
*******
His toes were ashy.
He seems like heβd be a really cool friend, but I donβt know, those lips. . .
He was wearing a bubble coat, and seriously, it was not that cold.
We had a good conversation, but I like a man to be more aggressive.
That was our second and last date. He used the word βauthenticβ like 14 times.
How many times do I have to tell you Iβm looking for someone TALL and HOT? Keywords being tall and hot.
He drank a hot chocolate instead of coffee. What is he? A 6β4ββ12-year-old? (Iβm putting myself out thereβthis was my own reaction to an otherwise pleasant date just a few years ago.)
Yeah, he was tall, but his head seemed a little small for his body.
It was loud in there, so Iβm not sure. Did I detect a stutter?
Boy, was he sweating!
He seems like someone who would like Star Trek.
I donβt care if he canβt see. He should have left those glasses at the office.
He was dancing (or worse, trying) way too hard.
********
I've heard from women myself irrational reasons just like these, if not some even more unrealistic expectations for a potential love interest. And women wonder why they can't find a "good man"...b/c they're looking for a perfect man, not a good man.
Sorry to rant!

Rant on brother Marcus. It's pretty much the same in Toronto. I heard places like Montreal are more friendly than the cold T-Dot.
