The cracked pans of the Tsaucheb Valley reflect the unbelievably intense orange glow caused by the last sunlight shining in below a summer rain storm.
While shooting this sunset I was on all fours because my body was all that I could use to shelter my camera from the rain. After about 90 minutes of shooting in the rain, the pan I had comfortably walked onto turned into a muddy playground that made walking a very slippery challenge. I've never seen such bright colours in my life...it was like seeing the world through a blood-red filter. The water reached Sossus the next day.

Louise [Surname Removed]: She sent this to only 4 people and when she woke up in the morning her wrists had deep lacerations on each. Luckily there was no pain felt, though she is scarred for life.
CASE THREE -
Thomas [Surname Removed]: He sent this to 5 people. Big mistake. The night Thomas was lying in his bed watching T.V. The clock shows '12:01am'. The T.V misteriously flickered off and Thomas's bedroom lamp flashed on and off several times. It went pitch black, Thomas looked to the left of him and there she was, Bloody Mary standing in white rags. Blood everywhere with a knife in her hand then disappeared. The biggest fright of Thomas's life.
Warning... NEVER look in a mirror and repeat -'Bloody Mary.Bloody Mary.' Bloody Mary... I KILLED YOUR SON' Is it the end for you tonight! YOU ARE NOW CURSED

I simply love the colours in this shot. I've waited since you uploaded it for a chance t view it on a fitting monitor so I can truly appreciate the intensity of it before commenting. The dark vignetting on the edges help make the shot a lot more dramatic (as if that's even necessary with colours like that). There's a lot of contrast in the foreground, and I'm guessing that's from the rain. I like the way some areas are very light, while others are very dark. The ground in the bottom left corner looks so muddy I have the strongest urge touch it.

Amazing colors here, I applaud you for managing what looks like a pain in the ass exposure, and the effort to get the shot. I love the patterns and textures in the foreground and how you can see in arch in the cracked pan.

Ahh now I see how you were able to manage the light. I've had similar situations, but before I knew too much about exposure.
