First in a series of large Graphite Drawing to be used as designs in the monumental industry. Copyrighted and any re use is forbiden.
Approximately 40 hours of work to complete.

I do sometimes draw directionally ... I'm left handed and often draw from right to left .. but better yet I more often than not use a drawing bridge ... it's basically a device that can be made or bought .. I bought mine but it'd be easy to make one ... say with a board with a smaller piece glued under each end that you rest your arm on to keep it raised a bit above the paper so you never actually touch it

Hmmm ... I'm not sure exactly what you're asking ... It's a photo of a drawing that I created. I do plan on scanning it in pieces and putting it back together in the future but for now it was much quicker to just photograph the image to post it.
As for the art itself I drew it from a combination of photos of three different whales a different background image, a different sky, different water and both right and left foregrounds so it's basically a new imaage based on the combination of 8 separate photographs put together to use as a reference.
