Description This is a joker(heath ledger)drawing I did in the past few months.I used tortillions for my first time on it,and I recommend it to anyone who wants finer details in their shading,I saw a great result instantly.Other than that I used a 2f,b and hb pencil on it,using strathmore smooth paper.For now I still don't have a scanner,so this just a picture from my Iphone4s.I think I'm going to try to get a scan tommorow from work.

Very nice! What really impress me are all the small details, the folds in the glove, the edges of the collar, the patterns on the vest and tie. It shows a great amount of commitment and patience. How long did it take you? And did it drawing in all those tiny lines ever get frustrating?

Thanks!Well,this one actually took longer than most of my portraits,I would say maybe roughly 10 hours or so,but on and off.It took about a week with my spare time to finish it.Oh man,the most frustrating thing was his hair,and his shirt details.I definitely had a lot of going back and erasing and trying to make it look right.I'm hoping to get this scanned because the photo took some of the details away.I also have began signing the drawings,something I hardly ever did.I also hid my name in his hair just in case,on the right upper corner.

You did a good job of it too, even looking for it I'm not sure if i see it, or if it's just hair that looks like it could be a signature and I'm looking in the wrong place

It's sort of hard to notice,especially with the blur from the Iphone camera.Man,I got a little upset today at work because I scanned it and a few other drawings,but then my manager didn't want to help me get them off the computer.The work computer is set up all weird,and you have to do all kinds of stuff just to get a simple scan.Hoping to have this one on Tuesday,if not,I'm going to be upset with him haha
