{Usually Silent} - "......" It's not as rare anymore that you will hear Wiretail talk, but he only talks to a selective few cats and is completely silent towards others, making this trait negative to an extent.
{Calm} - "Don't worry about it, relax." He's a very lax feline, and doesn't mind sharing a patch of sunlight with you as long as you won't interrupt his dozing.
{Mysterious} - "That's just how everything works. Strange, isn't it?" Cats outside of Fangclan don't know very much about Wiretail, and cats inside his Clan know even less, making him quite the mysterious feline.
{Helpful} - "I'll watch the kits if you'd like." He doesn't mind lending a paw to someone who needs it, and is more than willing to help if he is needed.

Wiretail has slunk from the camp in the night while everyone was thinking to clear his mind. He paused at the border that sliced through Waveclan and Fangclan. A war between all the Clans... At least I know Falconstrike's on my side. He thought, ears twitching to the sound of water shifting unevenly, like a feline body was moving through it. He dismissed it, and went back to staring at his own reflection, letting his thoughts drift.

Swaypaw was swimming through the water at night, entire body engulfed by the cooling water. She was told by her mentor, the medicine cat, that she should practice swimming. Now, he never said to do so at night, but Swaypaw preferred the quietness that was night. She rose her head above the water for a second, scenting Fangclan.

Wiretail was lazily dragging a paw through the water, though he pulled it back when a gust of chilled air ruffled his pelt. Sighing, he slumped down at the border, and stared at his reflection, hatred sparking his green eyes to life. He hated the fact he couldn't have done anything to prevent the murders of his parents, and now he hated that he couldn't have simmered down the tension between the Clans. War...and we don't even know who's truly guilty...

Swaypaw got a horrible, horrible idea. The young waveclan cat dove underwater, swaying back in forth. She surfaced almost directly in front of Wiretail, water splashing all over him "Heeey!" she purred, clearly way too friendly for her own good.

Wiretail was jolted from his thoughts by a sudden wave of icy water, hissing and reeling back. He glowered at the small she-cat who'd surfaced, pulling his lips back to reveal rather sharp ivory fangs in a snarl. He didn't speak, he simply gave her an unamused and very irritated glare. He did not like cats that got others wet just for a good laugh, especially if they had a phobia of the water. His friend, a kittypet named Dusky, had drowned while they were playing near a small river. He hated getting wet or going into the water ever since, even if he was perfectly capable of swimming.

"Awwww don't be like that." Swaypaw said quietly, shaking her head furiously to get some of the water off of herself. Once again, little drops of water got on Wiretail's face and body. "It's only a bit of water, Fang-cat. Not gonna kill ya'." she seemed so innocent, obviously not knowing that Wiretail wasn't exactly the most comfortable with water.

Wiretail growled irritably and began to dry himself, frowning at the water cat. "Easy for your to say, you can actually swim. You don't have to worry about drowning." He hissed, standing up to shake out his pelt the rest of the way. The Fangclan cat narrowed his eyes, "I'd watch my fish-loving behind if I were you, Fangclan's gonna rip those fins right off'a all yer bodies and turn them into den decorations after this war." There was no hint of a friendly joke in his tone. This Warrior was serious, and the guttural undertone of a growl made him all the more intimidating despite his size.

Swaypaw looked a bit offended, but tried not to let the way the tom talked get to her. "It wouldn't be wise to attack me." she said with a quick grin. She rolled a bit in the water "After all I'm not going to be fighting. I'm a medicine cat, ya flea-brain." she sneered, almost as if the young apprentice was attempting to pick a fight.

Wiretail smiled, tail swaying a bit, looking as if it wanted to bite large chunk out of her. "Mn.. Picking a fight now? Cocky medicine cat apprentice. I don't think you realize that I have no problem cutting off your ability to swim so smoothly." He jeered, moving closer to the water's edge. He was hydrophobic, sure, but boy you'd be wrong if you thought he wouldn't dive into the water just to rip this apprentice a new set of gills.

Swaypaw dove into the water, resurfacing only slightly farther away than earlier "If you try I'll just swim underwater, or go run for help." she bluffed. Sure, the first one was completely plausible. The second, not so much. Not many cats outside Waveclan knew about her 'funny walking', so she went with the assumption that he didn't either.

Wiretail smirked, tail swaying mockingly behind him, the "eyes" appearing to be scanning the water, watching her as a hawk does with its prey. "Will you now? Then I suppose I should give up." His smirk faded to his usual frown as he rolled his shoulders in an indifferent shrug. "But take note, one paw on our side of the territory, and I'll give you a pair of gills." He hissed, slinking into the foliage. However, the water on his pelt completely masked his scent with his surroundings, making it seem as though he'd truly left.

Swaypaw shrugged slightly, diving back into the water to practice her swimming. She totally believe that the warrior had left, so she decided to relax once more. She surfaced every once and a while, checking her surroundings quickly.

Wiretail quietly watched her, scoffing inaudibly at her naiveness. What a silly cat. Did she not know tat water can mask scent? Oh well. It'd be amusing to just watch her for a while until she actually realizes that he's still there. Maybe he'll get a good scare out of it. There really wasn't much else to do.

Swaypaw leaped out of the water for a second, stumbling onto the shore to rest. Her movements were shaky, uncoordinated steps clear to anyone. She flopped down loudly, staring into the night sky. The apprentice seemed content.

Wiretail padded into the Nursery, he had promised Howlcloud that he'd take watch of her litter since he didn't have anything to do as of today. It was near Sunhigh and most cats were napping, eating, or sharing tongues with each other. He paused at Howlcloud's nest and curled up, looking over to a black and orange kit that was staring at him.
"Hello."

The kit blinked up at him and noticed the big tom and she seemed unfazed and blinked her pale green eyes. Being the quiet she-cat that Bumblekit was she mewed quietly, "H-Hi I'm Bumblekit." Bumblekit said the phrase quickly and then blinked back at him.

"Hello Bumblekit," Greeted the warrior, gently wrapping his tail around her and himself, "I'm Wiretail. Howlcloud, your mother, told me to watch you and your siblings today."
