Description
The beach is the beach near where I live, Hemmick Beach (although there really is no way to tell that from the painting, that's where I set it in my mind's eye)They are sea-mist horses, every time its misty I expect to see them running past the house.

This is an AMAZING piece. If this were a print it would be on my wishlist in a snap! The surrealisticness of the piece is amazing... it truly is. The misty ocean curling over the dark sand is a unique setting which also adds to the mysterious aura about the horses... it makes me wonder where they came from and how far they've travelled. It feels like there's a story behind every hoofprint these two left behind, but was washed away before they could be told.
This piece deserves an overall 10 from me. It really made contact

The front horse is photo-perfect, but the back horse seems, euh, choppy? And the top part of the left leg (right from viewer) looks a little fat.
But once again you have blinded me with your blissfully beautiful art!

lol, yes, I ran out of time there...what I had to do for the back horse, was bring the sketch layer to the front and burn-and-dodge on flat colour. So I'm not surprised it looks choppy, as I didn't actually manually shade it at all! I'm glad you still like it though.
