Also known as : Farewell, my dear friend.*Cries*
I do not own Claude Frollo ( pity), I do not own his horse ( though I've named him Bucephalus in "Breaking Horses", which suits him a little better than Snowball...
Nor do I own Jeremy Irons. Pity. Again.
Whew!
Labour of love, and a labour of sadness. I'm gearing up to write this scene in my story soon, and I can tell you know, it will not be a happy scene.

The interaction between Frollo and Esmeralda is more interesting as well as with the horses. I think almost a metaphor for their relationship.
So funny in bunches in both as wild horses.

Oh, you are spot on about this observation of yours. I really feel that writing for these two is like peeling apart the layers of an onion: layer after layer. And with them? I just want to dig deeper. Plus I am a really big sucker for symbolism. Frollo is quite the horse-master, but we'll have to see if Esmeralda is the wild filly he thinks she is...

Well, to be honest, his character in the Disney is't as bad as it is in the book, but I mainly see him as an "obstacle". So he has to go. He's bad news.

I have gushed unashamedly about this on LJ. Your skill level is just going through the roof. I know you are not looking forward to writing this, but the love and the beauty of both animals is breathtaking. I love this more than any other Frollo art so far, and that is damn well saying something, because I adore everything you do, Mosey. This just surpasses everything. Every time I look at this, I think: why is this talented girl not making a living from her awesome talent?

And THAT? Is a very good question. I'm in an unfortunate financial situation at this point in my life too and I would love to be able to make some money by selling my arts, or working with commissions.
Big question however is: How much does one ask for a piece of art? Considering the materials spent and the time, and additional shipping etc etc. I really don't know!

Well babe, I would, at the very least, make your works available here as various sizes of prints. That's one good way of 'dipping your toe' into the well, and dA will print it for you. I don't know how much an artist gets here for their prints, but it might get some revenue started. I have purchased prints from dA in the past, and they are of a very high quality.

what I Love most of about "Bucephalus" is that he's one of Disnehy
s most badass horses.. don't know why he's dying though.. I feel bad for poor achilles though.. since Frollo's horse outshines him by a mile..
