Quick drawing that I played with a little in PS. I like the cartoony feel that it gives.It has to be something profound and unexpectedly revealing that Frollo says to Esmeralda to make her turn around like that.
Good man, Frollo. Woo her with words. You can do it. You can always play with merry little bonfires later.

It must have been something heartstopping, in my opinion, as Esmeralda turns around and is clearly touched by the...bleakness in his statement. Good question though!

I wonder what he said to her to make her turn around and look like that, hmmm... Maybe it's like that youtube video of Disneyland Paris [link] where Frollo wanted Esmeralda to dance for him and she ended up happily obliging.
