Recent commissioned piece of a peacock-inspired dragon. I borrowed more from the colors than from the imagery, resulting in a mostly teal and green dragon with a touch of purple, with copper scales throughout. I was thrilled to find the perfect matching pair of wings, as well as a rich purple gem for her to hold in her tail. Little peacock feather accents decorate her shoulders and head to finish the piece. Gosh, I love these colors so much - out of all my alcohol ink colors, that teal is my absolute favorite. I just want to use it all the time.
Crafted from Premo polymer clay, alcohol ink, copper foil, bugle beads, handmade fairy wings, and Swarovski crystal elements.

Nice design. I got a tiny headcanon backstory in my head for her on seeing this one. She maybe flew too close to a military transport plane, spooked them and they launched a copper flake chaff countermeasure. Now she is blushing purple at explaining the tinsel effect she has to her friends.
