It's not a superhero series without at least one horribly beat up hero scenario.
Don't worry about her wing membrane so much. It can regenerate. The problem is, since her wing membrane is actually quite sturdy, regenerating it when it's actually cut takes some time and forces DG into quite a long break.
I also try to... restrict gore and blood for DG because I want it to be more available for younger audiences too. Not kid young, but at least teens.
