UPDATED DESC BECAUSE i appearently sounded rude.There are people who believe Papydyne (Papyrus x Undyne) is lesbophobic because Undyne is supposedly, a lesbian (due to the fact she has a crush on alphys and they get together in the true pacifist route).
However, there are a few counterpoints:
1. Bisexuals/Pansexuals exist, Undyne could very well be a bisexual.
2. Alphydyne doesn't occur outside the true pacifist route (other than hints in other routes, i assume?)
3. Headcanons/fanons/AUs exist and people are ALSO allowed to headcanon what they want.
4. It's a harmless ship, shipping a supposedly lesbian character with a male isn't homophobic at all (unless the shipper itself ships it for homophobic reasons, but that does not make the ship itself homophobic).

People who think Papydyne is "lesbophobic" appearently think Alphys x Undyne is canon or BELIEVE undyne is a lesbian.
Let you know Alphys x Undyne isn't canon OUTSIDE of the true pacifist route, because alphys doesn't confess to undyne outside said route.
In addition, point me where undyne clearly says she's lesbian (not that it would matter since papydyne is a fanon ship and people are free to headcanon what the fuck they want).
Also in addition, Headcanons and user fanons exist.
offtopic: As much i dislike both sjws and anti-sjws, "Lesbophobic" seems to be a stupid term to replace "Homophobic" imo.

Yes the couple is sweet especially in Underfell/Streetfelltale( I often have smut thoughts when seeing them together in Streetfell thoughβ¦) universe~And I also ship Alphnye. In my view, men can only be "straight"οΌwhile women have various sexualities to choose from(sorry I am an exactly "feministnazi" and I do NOT think it is improper.)

Honestly, I think it's stupid to hate a ship because "it changes a characters sexuality" when most likely these people do the same. Like, as long as the intentions aren't homophobic/heterophobic I see no problem.

To be fair, there is a lot of evidence that Undyne is at least mostly into other girls (heck, she even calls Death a girl and says she's "super hot") and she and Alphys have really cute chemistry, but it's not exactly homophobic to ship her with Papyrus. Though I do still prefer Alphyne and I don't like how a couple of Papydyne shippers tend to make Alphys look bad lately.
And yes, "lesbophobic" is a really stupid term. Seriously, it's just homophobia.

People ship straight characters in gay relationships all the time, and these hypocritical SJWs don't get upset about it, but when someone ships gay characters in straight relationships, they get upset about it. Kevin and Jamie from Steven Universe are shipped together a lot, even though they're both straight guys. And I haven't seen anyone get upset about it.
