Description Some time ago I decided to tackle gouaches and bugs was the first thing to work with. After some time I decided to tackle such a topic and the same medium again! More bugs.

Beautiful colours and details here! I like the fact that you painted bugs, insects in general are really underrated in my opinion

Thank you! It's a practice still though, I must really rise my game up with the paints.

Bugs are a very generous subject when it comes to testing colors, since they come in all of them!

I can say that you are a person who pays a lot of attention to detail. To draw these small parts not for faint-hearted peopleΒ Β 
You are very harmonically placed insects on the sheet. The color also matched very well. The quality of drawing is excellent. It is immediately evident that you painted them with love, because the work is very neat.Β Β

Ha ha, thanks for the lovely comment. I usually try to do my very best, especially since I am not under any deadline or stress when working of stuff for myself... So I can really pour in time into the project and never rush anything to hasty completion. I reckon for a second ever work with gouaches it's not too shabby, but I certainly lack good control yet and must try an attempt at something with hard colours and firm shading. None the less I feel bugs will keep bugging me for a long time since I believe I'd be using them as a practice material for a long time. Would be nice to have a proper series of colorful bugs...

Thanks. Gouches are really good medium for some vibrant colours to display.

Fluid paints from the tubes. I was not aware that there are gouaches in crayon or pastel form Gouaches are basically just watercolours thats are opaque and rich in pigment.
