So a short post because I am dead tired and it’s 2 am. April Trial Time challenge is Public Domain Superheroes ! The idea is to take a comicbook character long forgotten and abandoned in the golden age of comic books and redesign it for a more modern look, just like if the character was still valid in nowadays comic. I went… With this guy!

Firebug also known as Orson Arson (I know, ingenious!) - a begrudged pyrotechnician that decided to turn to crime using “high” tech gizmos and gimmicks of his trade. Also, fire. Yay for fire! If it works, stick to it. As you can see in the redesign I decided to of course keep some of the components of the old one, including the wings, the “fluff” on the arms and back of the calves. Also the whole “plated” armour and the mask. Changes includes the whole new look of the eye and the face-mask, getting rid of the silly wasp abdomen and replacing it with a fuel tank on his back and changing the ridiculous firespewing antennas for two flamethrowers over his shoulders. This is /NOT FINISHED/. I am still willing to marker this piece and then color it fully Hope you like it!
