Description
The Ming dynasty Xi'an city wall in the haze. Xi'an, formerly known as Chang'an , is China's most famous ancient capital and is now the capital city of Shaanxi province. Xi'an has ancient city walls built in the Han, Tang and other dynasties, among which the most intact one is the Ming dynasty wall. Today, Xi'an's Ming city wall is open to the public free of charge, and visitors can rent bicycles and cycle around the city wall.
