A personal accomplishment of mine. This picture is my own representation of the tea party scene, my favorite part, from Lewis Carol's Alice in Wonderland. I think Alice in Wonderland is a great book and a great topic to draw because it can be interpreted in so many ways and you can pull so many themes from it. I focused on the Mad Hatter because he's my favorite character. I've never had English tea so I guessed the colors it would be. Oh, and that's the White Rabbit, not the March Hare. I think hares are grey and much larger than rabbits, I'm not sure. The butterflies are my excuse for being too lazy to draw it by hand. At least I used the colors of a poker deck.Related content

your Tea party is beautiful. is that dinah in the picture? she looks very matured and as curious as alice herself. a very nice representation of all the characters all around. my Alice in Wonderland picture is somewhat more morbid than this one, but that's only because i picture Wonderland as a very abbaresque place. But your representation is vivacious and lively and shows a side of the Wonderland that i would have trouble duplicating. very, very, very, cool.
