Lovely picture.. Loneliness has such a unique and in my opinion poetic atmosphere.. And you perfectly nailed that atmosphere.
And I gotta admit I've been feeling like this too lately, so it's even more relatable. If you ever want to talk about it just know that we are here for you - not just me, but I speak for hopefully the whole dA community <3

I can relate, it looks a bit like how I feel right now too.

The surreal quality of the lines, the fog closing in and concealing the landmarks you need to get your bearings.  The empty tracks, no where to go and you can't see if a train is approaching in the distance or has just left.

Nothing is in focus but the too sharp lines of the lonely person who is waiting.  Waiting, but for what? Waiting for a train to take them somewhere, anywhere, just to not be here.  Waiting for the fog to lift so they can find out where they are. Waiting for someone, anyone to give them a direction, a clue, or even just a word so they know they are not alone.

Do you move left or right?  Which way to get home? Which way leads into the abyss.

One of the things I have always admired about your work is how you mange to express so much with such clarity in a single image, even when its just a some lines and water colors (Minimal).

Hang in there, the fog will lift eventually.
