This is my favorite work of yours, even though it is an unfinished WIP. The blend work here is just stellar, looks sick as can be. The sketch beneath it is an interesting touch too, and in general just cool to have there as a reference to where this thing came from.
On another note, thanks for putting up that blend tutorial. Ive been working in Illustrator for years now, and never did it cross my mind to change the object mode to "overlay".

Yea all in illustrator,
Blends feel more like digital
painting to me. With mesh you can't
get that edgy graphic look
that i'm used to.
