Elvida and the Vermins
I did mention in her profile that she hated rabbits and rats, well .. for a good reason, it was that one event in her childhood that caused that hatred .. and while she isn't really traumatized by the event she still gets very frustrated and edgy whenever she sees a rat or a rabbit.

Notes
-Elvida was 6 years old at that time
-The mark on her cheek and on her mother's cheek is a sort of "witch mark" that's passed in her family, it is a birthmark.
-At that time she still had both her eyes (she lost her right eye at some battle later on)
-At the time she still hasn't developed her runic magic, and used the typical form of magic.
-She never planted carrots after that event.
-To protect her books she added defensive charms on all them in the library.
-Demi-humans (rabbit people and rat people) protested at the witches council gates for seven suns (days) aganist the atrocities committed aganist their animal cousins by the aristocratic senseless witches.

omg she's such a precious little girl
haha i think this is so cute. it's neat to see what little events affect a person and help turn them into who they are today. i also enjoy that she turned what most people would think are cute (like bunnies) into what many people think are gross (frogs).
also, the army of rats and bunnies is adorable XD
she seems to composed and motivated as an adult. i'd like for her to run across some rats at some point in the story and see what happens lol

And i don't think the rats will really like to run across her, even Demi-human rats and bunnies know her by name and scare their children to sleep with stories about her XD

Haha, this is cute. I like the images of the rabbits fighting over the carrot and the little battle she had with the rabbits and rats. It almost makes me think that the rats and rabbits holding weapons was all in her childish imagination. She is 6, but 6 year olds see the world in completely different ways!
Also, I like that what I thought was a scare is really a birthmark. Birthmarks and witches have a long history! In the old days children born with birthmarks were thought to be marked by the devil, and so those people were believed to be witches or demons, haha.
I like the side story!

Yeah .. actually the whole "rabbits and rat with weapons" is part of her imagination (although not unlikely in her world) .. i didn't want to put that explicitly in the comic .. glad it got through ^_^
And i'm glad you liked the short story .. i have a couple more of them for Elvida (haven't thought of any for Gogi yet .. but poor gogi will get his share for sure XD)
