--Oh god the trigger discipline hurts.. But Tuco didn't have any on the generic movie poster either.
(Movie is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly)
Kind of relevant picture in a way.. Eli Wallach, the actor of Tuco the Ugly, passed away less than a month ago.
The recent long ass project that came from a simple idea of wanting to paint Tirek in a suit or something similar just for the heck of it. Then I wanted to take Scorpan in too.. And then I suddenly ended up with this idea. Ended up watching the movie once again and realized how it could sort of fit in a funny way.
I decided to just go with these crossovers for titular sense and personalities of the characters. From a story point of view there could've been several other choices though.
Hardest part probably was to think how the hell do I give Tirek or Discord a hat with those horns. Luckily Discord's hat was easy to scrap because it doesn't really exist in the movie.
Blergh.. This was supposed to be finished ages ago so I could prepare a nice 10k watchers celebratory stuff. But for now I have to postpone those things to get this one finally out.

I especially approve of Discord as Tuco. Tuco was pretty chaotic given his borderline good/evil.Β

Oh, you don't even know how many of those movie scenarios I played through my head with these MLP characters while planning and painting this out. I even watched the movie two more times, plus single scenes for reference. It was surprising and hilarious how some of them fit or would simply turn funnier.

Dang, I sure had that idea once too pretty early on... especially when the design was a little different.
Thus I did make his face less bulky and pushed the black hair back behind the beard.

You've done amazingly! Firstly, to imagine how Scorpan would look, draw him and then put him into a bad ass costume is utterly incredible. How you put them ALL into old western costumes is incredible.Β
They way you placed each one onto a sort of card (like Jack, Queen, King) was a really inventive way to put them all into one shot. The colour for each one is very suitable as well, especially Tirek's red background.Β
I can understand why hats can be such a problem at times, but you've done nothing less thanΒ placeΒ a fantastic perceptive of the three major good, bad and discordant characters of the finale into full view.Β
