Description
Though the Bat'leth is a popular armament of any Klingon, the Mek'leth was another bladed weapon that Klingons have used on many occassions. The Mek'leth was designed to be half the size of the popular Klingon Batleth, making it more concealable and capable of both slashing the throat and disemboweling their enemies. Klingons like Lt. Commander Worf occassionally favored the weapon rather than his own Bat'leth. He even used it to combat a Borg Drone while on a spacewalk on the Enterprise-E's secondary hull.
