Description THE MAKING OF A GOOD MAN
________________________

MAN is said to be the finest creation of God.It is said God has made man in his own image.
But the opposite is equally true .The image of an all-encompassing just and compassionate
God tells about the innermost craving of man to be good and generous himself. Man’s yearning
for truth, goodness and justice is as old as the civilization itself.

Human values like truth, justice and goodness are the catalysts of a progressive civilization.
A social order based on truth and justice builds a cohesive force in the society and makes it
inwardly strong. In such a congenial set up people strive to be good understanding that the
virtue of goodness is the only reinforcing force for a perfect social order. A good citizen
makes the backbone of the Nation strong.

So there is a code of conduct for the common man in every civilized society.  In every society
there are some higher order of people who always set a standard for the common man to follow
by being exemplary themselves. These people in due course become beacon lights for the future
generation .A question arises here .Is there a code of conduct for the good man? Perhaps not any.
A good man always carries within him an inbuilt compass to steer him through the right path .
A simple illustration can make it clear.

The water quenches the thirst of a man. Fire gives warmth and air gives him the life force.
Goodness remains hidden in the intrinsic qualities of water, air and fire in being generous
in their unique ways though without ever claiming to be so. Goodness becomes a virtue only
when it is selfless and impersonal. A man can become self-justifying only when he is good.
Such a person does not need an outside sanction for his goodness. Goodness only makes a man
complete.

“The attainment of goodness”is the essence of all the teachings and discourses of the sages
down the Ages. How difficult is it to impart and yet how easy is it to comprehend!

Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel Laurate Indian writer, once said:” Every child comes with the
message that God’s faith in man is not yet finished”. Deep within every child does lay a
hidden talent, which can be bloomed with systematic training and positive feedbacks. The
latent talent of the child is the realm of goodness for him that can grow in full flow with a
little care by the concerned parents and teachers.

Today man asserts to be father of the child. But
Beware! One day the child will of course claim to be
Father of man .It is time to understand it and engage
ourselves in the process of making of The Good Man.

Nice!
A true 'deviation'!
Good to see that you like doing different works... differently. Otherwise, most deviants (including me) just work in a few areas... and not realize that there are lots of things beyond customization.
Really love your work! Keep up!
