There is much useful information in the artbook. Also some nice backstory about the original plot. Nick is such a trickster. He uses his (more or less worthless) Ph.D. to make Wild Times possible. Doctors are allowed to take off shock collars. A critical part of his Wild Times idea. Without his Ph.D. Wild Times would not have been possible. And in that old plot, predators had a hard time to get legal work as doctors. So his degree had at least one use. According to the old story information, Nick had not much of a chance to use his wisdom for legal things. That's why the Ph.D. is more like a worthless piece of paper in the old storyline. I really like his attitude of using his degree in a "creative" way.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing, but every time I see Nick in Doctor's clothes, I just think of Zistopia, "A different path" (Good read but adult warning) or any other AU with the collars. I'm almost tempted to say: "Where is his collar?"
