Well, I think it's all about how far away the background is and on what you focus .^.

This is really a striking piece. You have a strong concept and have executed it in an original way - I haven't seen anything quite like this before. I think it is made more poignant by the fact that the girl is made of paper; it makes her seem less important and more... disposable, I suppose. I also like your absence of colour when drawing the girl as this makes her seem insubstantial which all adds to the effect.
I agree with what other have said about the good contrast between colours in the background, and not in the foreground, and your focus is good.
One thing I would suggest is to crop out the top of the image slightly where it shows the brown above the background as this isn't a straight line and looks as if it's not supposed to be there as all the other edges are straight into the background.
I like idea of having a hand holding the rope that she's hanging by as it suggests that her death is the fault of someone else, or that someone forced her into it; made her think she should kill herself for whatever reason.
A really nice concept and strong execution. Thank you for sharing. (:

Wow!
Thats pretty powerful!!!
As far as she goes she's very cute, and the outfit is well drawn, your lining is so clean! Good job!
The pictures in the background make it quite powerful!
Overall awesome job!!!

I don't really know whether you want feedback on the paperchild drawing, or on the composition of the photo in general, so I'll comment on both.
On the drawing - the lines are clean and strong, and the body gives the sense of depth and volume, even with the simple lines and lack of shading you used; very nice! You are a good artist. The shirt hangs a bit awkward though - I guess I miss a collar. The head, hair, and face are done well, and her expression is matching too.
On the photo - it has a good composition, and the paperchild has a good contrast with the blurred background of photos and papers, both in brightness and focus. The fact that there is a visible hand holding the rope (instead of just hanging from a ceiling or such) hints that she was "pushed" to commit suicide by someone or something - such as by events in her life, symbolised by the clutter of images in the background.
Overall, good drawing and nice composition.

Very, very nice! The lines are clean, the girl is perfect and the background fits well, as if it were memories or something. The blur kinda makes it strange for the eye, but is an awesome photo.
