Something I whupped up to practice on shading (I'M COLORING IN A NEW COMIC PAGE!!!!! Well, I'm done, but I'm redoing the shading so..... YAH)Not my best, but I like how it turned out.

She seems so alone. I wish you hadn't have centered her. She'd look more isolated if she was actually in the corner and the image was a little more off center and zooomed out.

I'm sorry, but that sort of confused me. (I'm really sorry!) First you said she looks so alone, but then you suggested ideas that would help her to look more isolated/ alone. I LOVE your suggestion, and that does sound a lot better. But I'm confused; you wanted her to look more isolated, however you said she looks alone already. (I don't mean to sound harsh, I'm sincerely abashed.)

Sure. I'll give you a comparison. If I draw a person faced down in the mud. He might look dead. If I have him face down in a pool of blood, he looks much more dead.
Against your concept: if your concept was to make her alone x,y,z will improve the image's balance, tension, and give it an all around more interesting feel.
