Description
"H" is for Hourman 3.this may look more impressive to you than it actually is.
during a 12 hour work day, yesterday, i noodled on this of to the side. about 5-10 minutes here and there....just to keep my sanity.probably a total of 75 minutes of drawing. i just pasted them together in a cheap montage and threw in a highlight. bingo bango.....here it is....

Great sketch! I always liked that version of Hourman best. I just wish they kept him in the JSA a little while longer.

One more thing about the JSA as well,I read there's a new version in a series called EARTH 2 and so far they got the following...flash GL,Hawkgirl,Atom,Mr Terrific and DR fate. Time will tell if they bring out more of the following members like starman or even Hourman.
Time and future issues will tell I suppose.

sorry to say, i wouldn't know anything about that. as much as i love the JSA and the rest of the DC universe...it's been a few years since i've read any of the comics at all.

I really like the linework on this though. And the pose and the way his cape is draped really make this a strong piece for a "doodle," I think.

Nice sketch, you captured a lot of emotion in his close up. You have a good handle on facial expressions!
It's like he's looking at a clock thinking, "Aw man, im running out of time! Wait, that can't be right, because i'm--" B-/
Then the other sketch, he's like "Yes! I made it! Hourman FTW!"

I'm impressed with the shape of the cloak, the drapery of the fabric and how the cloak interacts with the figure...
