Thank you. This was a try to work IFS-like with Menger4ex (_FoldingVar instead of foldinginfyIFS)
I think textures can beautify IFS and Menger fractals. I made the texture with GIMP.

In Mandelbulber you can add material to each formula/geometric primitive. Unfortunately this is not possible in MB3D.

Ich hätte theoretisch noch mehr positional lights einsetzen können. DecoCubeIFS, SphCageIFS oder NewFoldCutIFS wären vermutlich auch viel besser geeignet gewesen. Oder halt Postwork...

hmm.. , hätte es vlt bei positional lights gelassen , damit es raw bleibt
aber auch so sehr schön geworden

Yes, ich bin auch immer sehr bemüht darum "raw" zu bleiben. Ich ärgere mich schon, wenn ich mal schreiben muss "gamma correction made with GIMP" (bei JWildfire oder sehr langen Reflections mit MB3D kann das mal vorkommen).

Danke. Eigentlich habe ich bei solchen Werken gemerkt, dass der positive Gesamteindruck sehr von den Texturen, dem Fokus und den Lichteinstellungen herkommt. Für das Mainrendering, das war im Grunde Minutensache. Ich hänge zeitlich am meisten bei den Farben, Licht und Nebel fest. Und wie gesagt, Texturen machen auch echt viel aus. In diesem Fall hatte ich von einem Foto ein Stück Mauerwerk mit GIMP kachelbar gemacht und als Textur verwendet. Trotzdem interessant mit z. B. mit _FoldingVar eine Menger-Formel zu kacheln.

Ich schreibe hier öfter mal: die präsentation (und die damit verbundene arbeit und zeit) macht 80% des renders. Das glauben mir zwar wenige, aber für mich stimmt das in jedem fall
