the second drawing was loosely inspired by a young man at a distant table in a restaurant - he had raven black hair - I was going to make the hair black, but for some reason I was also fascinated by that contrast and left it like that

I am also surprised at how he looks very thoughtful, but sad. Pensive. Your drawings look simple until I take the time to really look at them and appreciate all the little details.

well, I always think 'surreal'... when I don't it's just that I am not comfortable for some reason (today I have to work...) but still need to draw something

or to perfect technique, expressions etc.
