The drawing skills are better than most. You'd be surprised at haow many people fail to do this kind of drawing. The problem is it takes patience to color it in and to ink it or whatever. The initial drawing and designing of it usually just takes me about 15 to 20 minutes. A good drawing of mine will take about a couple hours to finish. You can go on ahead and look at my optical art folder in my gallery. Optical art is to create creat a sense of 3 dimensional, but the focus of the eye can change and this 3d sense change along with it. For example, in your piece, you cant tell if the section going diagnally through the middle is in front and the backround is orange or, with a shift of focus, the 2 spheres are in front and the yellow and aquamarine is the backround. It's all about creating something that can be varied completely. I vary mine alot, with criss cross section and everything.

Thanks for this comment. I appreciate a lot
I previously visited your gallery and the stuff are mesmerizing .. true eye candies. at the end it all comes to the greatness of the vision rather than supremacy of the drawing skills. at least for me it works that way

Plus as you practice drawing, you will either refine or broaden you drawing techniques to see what works for you and with the skills gained through practice you will get better at drawing your true mind's vision.
