Well, this is as big a reveal you'll get from me at the moment...
When I first developed the setting for Madness, I never really thought I'd apply individual characters to it. In a sense, these guys aren't quite characters in the traditional sense though they will certainly be referred to as such for lack of better words. These five serve more as representational figures, much like some roles of actors in traditional Greek or Medieval plays.
These "characters" are going to have key roles in something of a comic project I'm planning to develop around the Maddies' world. I don't intend on a directly coherent or linear plot either, as this isn't meant to work so much as a story but more a form of philosophy. My brother has even promised to aid me in writing it, having a lot of post-modern playwrights and philosophers in mind as reference. That's right, this isn't going to be just a comic, it's going to be an artist's comic.

Look out folks, Madness is going to become even more pretentious than it may have already become!
