Although I planned on doing more digital art, I hit a point yesterday where I didn't want to do anything on the computer. I kind of felt like doing something with a medium I don't use that often, which is watercolors.I made this one with the intention to frame it and put it in my appartment, there are still empty walls there
That's also why I chose mainly blue...the majority of my decoration is blue xDSince the picture was drawn on Rosenmontag (one of the carnival-holidays here in Germany), the messy colors are kind of fitting xD

I always thought that about myself as well, but it's mainly depending on the paper and a little experience how much water to use etc.

I have some but I use them 1% of the time xD
The white crosshatching on the dogs cheek and the muzzle hair was done with watercolors pencil(but could have been a normal pencil as well), the rest was done with watercolors alone.

I may not have the knowledge how colors actually work, but I can tell when they look pretty and seem to be working with each other nicely.
And here I can tell You did great, the colors and tones are done really nice, they are placed and mixed in a way that it gives a nice, warm feel of the picture, also a 'full'(I don't know how to call it) feel of it.

Bei den FΓ€higkeiten die du im traditionellen Bereich hast*schmacht*
Es ist immer mal gut ein medium zu benutzen was man selten tut und es ist echt cool wenn dabei sowas schΓΆnes rauskommt.
Traditionelle Sachen meistens mehr Charme haben als eine Computerarbeit. (finde ich)
Wobei beide Sachen bei dir echt gut sind.
