I've been playing Fallout 3 recently and i must say, it's a very good game. A good example of how to make a sequel that's both innovative and faithful to its orgins.So here's a random Brotherhood Paladin delivering pure water in the wastes... and while they provide good protection, power armors surely aren't great when it gets hot....

Now that, seems more like brotherhood recon armor, being more cut down than the usual power armor while not looking like advanced underarmor

It's modeled after the regular power armor, although now that you mention it it does seem a bit too light.

No, I actually like the concept of this being like a cut-down version of power armor. Like, this could be advanced recon armor, created by the Outcasts, that has elements of power armor mixed with stealth capabilities of the CSS (chinese stealth suit) modeled after the one found in the vault opened at the end of "operation: ANCHORAGE". How about that?

Hm. That would be a nice design, but the T-51b from Anchorage is the heaviest of all power armor suits. To build something like a stealth power armor it would be wiser to start from a lighter one, like the old Enclave power armor.

No, I mean the Brotherhood Outcasts could make a prototype suit. Take elements from THEIR Outcast armor, the T-45d type, and elements from the Chinese Stealth Suit found in the vault and create your armor. It would provide less protection than the standard power armor, but more so than the CSS, and would have a temporary cloaking field, much like the Arbitors' temporary cloak from Halo. None of it involves the T-51b armor. Do you get it?
However, on the Enclave note, it does seem like something the Enclave would do over the Brotherhood. So, and just throwing this out there, you could redraw the picture, and modify some elements of the suit to be a bit more sleek like the Enclave would have it.

I don't think it's worth redrawing the picture just for that. However it would be nice to create an armor like that through a mod.
