This bug bug looks like a small dinosaur.

Judging by its short legs and strange, mushroom-like exoskeleton, I'm going to guess these guys would shuffle around in the underbrush, camouflaged among mushrooms and the sort.
Very creative, even with little info!

What a cool looking creature. So what does it eat, anyways?

I'm going to take a random guess that its diet mostly consists of fungi

nice how Fungostegotops' features abide by the rules of polar fauna - like shorter thicker tails.
great creativity.

Are there even ice caps? Or just different worldtree species?

Nice. I wonder what the polar regions would be like on a water world. The only true "land", perhaps? Inhabited by rare, terrestrial vertebrates?
Anyway, this guy looks amazing. I wonder what his fungus-roofed head is for.

Interesting design. And I think its a nice idea to keep some animals mysterious.
